<![CDATA[What is the Price for FaceSay?]]>Sun, 28 Sep 2008 17:11:57 -0800http://www.facesay.com/6/post/2008/09/how-much-is-facesay.htmlFor $249 dollars, you can purchase a 5 student license for FaceSay Classroom on 1 PC. This is a nice "entry level" fit for a small private practice or an itinerant therapist, say, who has up to 5 students.

A standard license, with unlimited number of students (on one computer) is $479 dollars.

Volume discounts are available - 10% for a 5 Pak for 5 PCs and 20% for a 10 Pak. Please contact us for a quote for district wide licensing.

The Home Edition will be 79 dollars for one child and $129 dollars for two children. If you want to be notified as soon as it's available, please add your email to the "keep me posted" gizmo at the bottom of the "How To Buy" page. See below for details on the release date.

<![CDATA[What Ages do you recommend?]]>Sun, 28 Sep 2008 16:29:32 -0800http://www.facesay.com/6/post/2008/09/what-ages-do-you-recommend.htmlFaceSay is best for kids ages 4 to 12, preK - 8th grade. In the 2007 study, the participants ranged in age from 6 to 14.

On my drawing board is a new set of themes/characters - changing out the cute stuff for superheroes, scientists and such - which should appeal more to the older students and even adults.

A version for younger children is also in planning.

<![CDATA[False Positive from Trend Micro]]>Sun, 28 Sep 2008 16:21:47 -0800http://www.facesay.com/6/post/2008/09/false-positive-from-trend-micro.htmlIf you are running an older version of Trend Micro Anti Virus, and you encounter a "TROJ_GENERIC" warning, either while downloading FaceSay or while starting FaceSay, it is a false positive. Please run the TrendMicro update to get their latest engine to fix the problem

The reported file is execryptorvb.dll, a third party component that, like the FaceSayClassroom.exe file, will not run if it has been changed at all.

Click here to view Virus Total Report showing execyryptorvb.dll clean on 33 engines, including the latest Trend Micro engine:
