How to play FaceSay™ from your iPad

Courtesy of a neat networking app, you can play FaceSay on your iPad 2 or later. SplashTop Remote turns your iPad into a wireless touchscreen for your PC.  If you are game to try it, Install FaceSay on your PC.  Then...

  1. Buy the SplashTop Remote app ($4.99) from the App Store.
  2. Download and Install the free SplashTop Streamer on your PC
  3. Tap the SplashTop icon on your iPad and you will see your Windows Desktop on your iPad
  4. Tap the Windows Desktop Icon for FaceSay

FaceSay's touch interaction design and 1024x768 screen resolution are a perfect fit for the iPad.  A native iPad version of FaceSay is in the works, but this is a nice interim option.

SplashTop Tips

This YouTube video from SplashTop walks you through the install.  Here is a SplashTop Support writeup of the install as well

I found the "connect via email" option (under "Network" on the SplashTop streamer config) to be  helpful.

FaceSay Tips

If you plan to run FaceSay primarily from your iPad, I recommend not installing the optional ReacTickle's Screen Savers (they are a bit slow running on SplashTop)
